Local 1619 Member Shot While Responding to Call

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant John E. "Skillet" Ulmschneider, a member of Prince George's County, MD Local 1619. Brother Ulmschneider, 37, was killed Friday, April 15, 2016, from a gunshot wound while responding to an emergency call.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Parish, 43950 St. John's Road, Hollywood, Maryland, (301) 373-5212. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. also at St. John's Parish.
