Nominations are now being accepted for IAFF Local 244 City & County: Rookie of the Year (1-3 yrs), Fire Fighter of the Year and Outstanding Leadership. Complete the form to submit your nomination by November 18th, 2025 for consideration. This year, members will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the leading finalists in each category during the final week of November.

Do you work with a firefighter who demonstrates excellence, leadership, and mentorship within the fire department, IAFF Local 244 and the broader community? Maybe they have a strong commitment to safety, an ability to inspire and support others, foster a culture of teamwork, exceed expectations on or off the job, or excel in other ways—if so, you should consider nominating them.
