The IAFF Local 244 General Membership has approved a dues increase of $2.50 per pay period by secret ballot vote with 56 for and 18 against at today’s General Meeting. This was in accordance with the IAFF Local 244 Constitution & By-Laws Article IV, Section 5 to include a Special Meeting for the budget presentation and justification for dues increase held on April 20, 2011. The dues increase will take effect on the pay period ending May 20, 2011.
