The IAFF Local 244 is looking to put together a team of Firefighters and family to participate in this year’s annual charity event.  St. Baldrick's began as a head-shaving event and that continues to be the signature event of the Foundation. “Shavees” ask friends and family to make donations "on their head" and in return, they have their heads shaved in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. Anybody wishing to join the team please go to stbaldricks.org/events. The team name is Albuquerque Area Firefighters. If you wish to help out with donations you can also go to stbaldricks.org/donate/ to donate money to the Albuquerque Area Firefighters team. 

The main event will take place on March 16, 2014 at Santa Ana Star Center 3001 Civic Centre Rio Rancho, NM.
