A City Chapter Special Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 11:00a.m. via ‘Zoom Online Video Meeting’ in accordance with Article II, Section 4 & Article V, Section 6 of the IAFF Local 244 Constitution & By-Laws. The purpose of this meeting will be for final membership approval of the AFR COVID-19 MOU. The special meeting will start promptly at 11:00a.m.
A seperate and more detailed announcement will be emailed out to all email addresses on file. Please review the MOU and the instructions prior to the scheduled Special Meeting.
The TV Fund Equipment Auction scheduled for this week (March 16-21) has been postponed until further notice. We will repost this event when it is rescheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience.
In accordance with SECTION 6. B. 4 of the Constitution and By-Laws an auction will be held March 16-21 by the County TV Fund Manager to sell used equipment. This shall be a silent auction that is held at the union hall over seven (7) days to give all chapter members an opportunity to participate. City Chapter Contract Negotiations Informational Meetings are scheduled for January 9 & 10, 2020 at the Union Hall. The purpose of these meetings will be to discuss upcoming negotiations related to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the IAFF Local 244 and the City of Albuquerque, to include membership recommendations.
The January 9, 2020 meeting will start promptly at 7:00p.m.
The January 10, 2020 meeting will start promptly at 10:00a.m
The IAFF Local 244 Executive Board is accepting letters of interest for the position of County Chapter 1st Trustee for the next 14 calendar days. The Executive Board will appoint a member to serve in this position at the Executive Board meeting on January 2, 2020, until the next General Election; in accordance with the IAFF Local 244 Constitution & Bylaws, Article VI, Section 5.
