A union-based mental well-being program which is separate from City/County and Department policy. Therapists, Counselors, and Social Workers are available-please see below for authorized providers.
The goal of the Membership Assistance Program is to insure the health and well-being of each member and their immediate family. The following individuals are covered: member, spouse, legally verified domestic partner, children and stepchildren.
To initiate services, the member may contact authorized providers directly, or contact the Union office for information. To verify eligibility, a current IAFF membership card and/or union member number must be provided.
*Authorized providers are defined as clinicians who have been approved, are currently covered by the members insurance, submit billing directly to the Union and appear on the provider directory.

June 2026-UPDATE:
* There is one authorized provider, Public Safety & Psychology Group, which does not accept insurance but instead has been grandfathered/exempted on our list.
Beginning June 1, 2026, all individuals using PSPG services will be required to pay at the time of service and send receipts to our Office Administrator, Kelly Silvis, for reimbursement. We’ll assist each member during this process to offer flexible options. For more information or to submit receipts, email Kelly at iaff244general@gmail.com.
