Attention IAFF 244 Local Members,
The IAFF Local 244 Executive Board has five (5) vacancies that were created by our most recent election & the installation of officers into their newly elected positions on January 8, 2026. IAFF Local 244 will be accepting letters of interest for 14 calendar days-beginning January 8, 2026, for the following positions:
City Membership Outreach Director
City Chief Steward
City 1st Steward
County 3rd Steward
County Trustee
The Executive Board will appoint a member to serve in each position at the next Executive Board meeting on February 26, 2026, until the next General Election in December 2026; in accordance with the IAFF Local 244 Constitution & Bylaws, Article VI, Section 5.
All letters of interest can be turned in to the Union Hall or emailed to iaff244general@gmail.com by midnight on January 22, 2026.
