Bernalillo County Local 244 members,
Our negotiation team has reached a tentative agreement with management in regard to our Collective Bargaining Agreement. As you know, the circumstances of this past year have been challenging for all. Everyone is still in the recovering phase of this COVID pandemic.
This portion of negotiations was just for compensation articles. Our negotiation team worked diligently on the membership’s behalf. What our team agreed upon is what they feel is presentable to the membership for the current time. Again, we are still in the recovery phase of this pandemic. Understand that this is the second half of a two-year contract and we will re-open at the beginning of 2022.
We will be holding two informational meetings at the Union hall. May 26 th, 2021 at 10:00am and May 27th, 2021 at 10am.
The vote will be June 2, 2021from 7:00am to 7:00pm at the Union Hall, Station 33, and Station 40. Absentee voting will be available in accordance with the Constitution & Bylaws and additional information on Absentee voting will be posted in the coming days.
The negotiation team has tentatively agreed upon:
