Attention Members:

The IAFF Local 244 Election Committee has called for a secret ballot vote to be held during the June General Membership meeting on June 13, 2024, beginning at 7:00p.m. to adopt the proposed Constitution and Bylaw Amendments. These proposed changes were sent out via email to the membership on April 15, 2024, to allow for 30+ days for review in accordance with the Constitution & Bylaws.

This vote is being called pursuant to Article XIV Amendments, Section 1, Method of the IAFF Local 244 Constitution & Bylaws.  

Members may also view the proposed amendments in detail on our website at iaff244.org by logging into the 'members’ area, clicking on the Const. /Bylaws tab and select the ‘2024 Proposed Constitution & Bylaws Amendments’ pdf.

All members are encouraged to attend the meeting on June 13, 2024, at 7:00p.m. to cast a vote on these changes.
