Nominations are now being accepted for IAFF Local 244 City & County: Rookie of the Year (1-3 yrs), Fire Fighter of the Year and Outstanding Leadership. Complete the form to submit your nomination by November 18th, 2025, for consideration. 

Do you work with a firefighter who demonstrates excellence, leadership, and mentorship within the fire department, IAFF Local 244 and the broader community? Maybe they have a strong commitment to safety, an ability to inspire and support others, foster a culture of teamwork, exceed expectations on or off the job, or excel in other ways—if so, you should consider nominating them. 

This year, all members will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the leading finalists in the Fire Fighter of the Year category during the final week of November.

Awards will be presented during the IAFF 244 Annual Christmas Party on December 19, 2025.
